Betty C. Pesek, 89, formerly of Lake Forest, March 24, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Dr. Martin G. Pesek; Loving mother of Kathleen (Geoffrey) Nixon, George (Lynn) Pesek, and Christopher (Sheilah) Pesek. Fond grandmother of Anne (Matias) Cacchione, Matthew Nixon, Nicholas, Maria, John, Alexandra, Martin, and Frederick Pesek; Cherished sister of the late Wilma (Bob) Hauptman and the late Lois Wanek, Harold Chipman and Robert Chipman. She was a member of the league of Women Voters. Betty was a former Deacon of First Presbyterian Church of Lake Forest as well as the Fourth Presbyterian Church of Chicago. She was also a member of the Institute of Cultural Affairs for over 50 years. Graduated from the University of Nebraska and holds a Master’s Degree in Speech Therapy from the University of Michigan. Visitation Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 E. Vine Ave., Lake Forest, IL followed by 2:00 pm service.
