Lake Forest Obituary: Janice Lynn Arvia

Janice Lynn Arvia, nee Barce, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2015 at the age of 67. Janice is predeceased by her Mother and Father, Grace and Elwood Barce and her sister, Carol Smith. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Guy, of 47 years.

High school sweathearts since the age of 14, they were married in Chicago, IL on November 9, 1968 and have resided in Lake Forest for the past 30 years, where they have raised their three children, Jennifer Horan (Tom), Michael (Jennifer) and Julie Miller (Scott). Janice is lovingly remembered by her children and her ten grandchildren with whom she loved to spend time; Haley, Grace, Carter, Brynn, Addison, Logan, Luke, Finley, Charlotte and Owen. Janice dedicated her life to her family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, children and grandchildren, spending time with good friends and walking the beaches in Sanibel Island, Florida. She will truly be missed by all her family and friends. The visitation will be held on Friday, November 20, 2015 at Wenban Funeral Home, 320 Vine Ave, Lake Forest from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E Westminster Ave, Lake Forest. Visitation at the church will be held from 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM, followed by the funeral service at 9:30 AM.
