Lake Forest Police Find Missing Teens
A 17-year-old Lake Forest boy and a 16-year-old Highland Park girl last seen Tuesday were found Friday (UPDATED)
LAKE FOREST, IL — Police asked the public for help locating two North Shore teens who reportedly ran away together. The pair was last seen around 6 p.m. Tuesday at a home in Lake Forest, according to a release. Investigators believe the Highland Park girl and the Lake Forest boy used a ride-hailing service to travel to an address in Chicago that night.

The 16-year-old Highland Park girl was described as 5 foot, 8 inches tall and 130 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a white fleece sweatshirt, blue jeans with white trim and white gym shoes, according to police.

The 17-year-old Lake Forest boy was described 6 feet tall and 160 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing tan khaki pants and a green Patagonia brand jacket, police said.
Detectives have checked multiple locations in Lake Forest and Chicago to try to locate the two teenagers, but were unable to find them as of Friday afternoon, according to the release.

UPDATE: Friday evening, police said both teens were found at a Lake Forest address. They are currently in police custody and will be reunited with their parents.
