Help Save the Castlegate Gates!
Kick off the planned restoration of the historic gates at the entrance of the North King Muir subdivision with an educational presentation from 1:30-3:30 pm on Sunday, November 3. There will be an educational presentation highlighting the early 1900’s establishment of A.B Dick’s Westmoreland Farm and the subsequent development of the Leroy Burton Petite Estates in the 1950’s. Presenters include local historians, Paul Bergmann and Art Miller along with A.B. Dick family member, Maddie Dugan. Learn how the gates and surrounding landscape will be returned to their former beauty through careful restoration.
Gather at the 537-549 King Muir Road Carriage Barn at 1:30 pm for an informative presentation and tour. Continue to the gates and a reception at 965 Castelgate.
