Lake Forest finished second in the North Suburban Conference, losing an away game at Warren Township 14-18 in the final game of the season after giving up a 8-point lead by conceding 12 unanswered points in the fourth quarter.
The Scouts only other loss this year came in Week 2, with a 26-14 non-conference loss to Carmel Catholic High School in Mundelein.
Lake Forest also benefited from picking up a win last month without having to play a game after Waukegan High School forfeited a Sept. 24 game because the Bulldogs were "unable to field a full varsity team as a result of player injuries and illnesses."
