Connecting the Dots: An evening with Ralph Martire. September 19 in Grayslake
The League of Women Voters of Lake County will host a public forum “State & Taxes: Connecting the Dots” on Tuesday, September 19, featuring Ralph Martire, executive director of the Center for Tax and Budget Accountability. The event will take place at the Byron Colby Barn in Grayslake (1561 Jones Point Road). Presentation begins at 7 p.m; doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Topics include:
- Understanding property and income taxes
- How does the state structure school and municipality funding
- Illinois Tax Reform: Where do we go from here?
