Legion Seeks Youth for 2015 Summer Programs

Lake Bluff’s American Legion Post 510 is looking for five young men and five young women from Lake Bluff to take part in the Illinois Boys State, Illinois Girls State 2015 programs to be held at Eastern Illinois University this summer, according to a community post on the Daily North Shore.

Legion Post 510 sponsored delegates will get experience in national, state and local government, meet with civic leaders, attend motivational meetings, participate in leadership and team building programs and learn to interact with new friends. Boys State meets June 13 to 19. Girls State meets June 21 to 27.
