The Lake Forest High School Varsity Dance Team finished in second place at the National Dance Team Championship on Sunday, giving up the national title they had for two years to a southern Indiana school.
The Varsity Blue squad placed third in the jazz category, the highest finish for the school since 2006.
“They’re really excited to be top three in the nation in both categories,” coach Nikki Lazzaretto told the Chicago Tribune.
