LFHS Dance Team Gears Up to Defend Title

The Lake Forest High School dance team recently won local competitions ahead of their conference meet this weekend and the national championship later in the month.

The DailyNorthShore.com reports the Scouts took first place in the pom division in the Universal Dance Association (UDA) Chicagoland Dance Competition on January 10 while placing third in the jazz division. The next day, they took first in the overall dance category at the Deerfield Invite.

At the end of the month, the Scouts will look to defend their national title in Florida.
