Long-term Lane Closures Planned on I-94

Buckley Road, Townline Road, Half Day Road and Lake Cook Road exits will be affected through the summer.

In order to complete road work by the end of the summer, the Illinois Tollway is planning long-term lane closures at four North Tri-State Tollway (I-94) ramp toll plazas.

Beginning the week of April 27, the Tollway will work on repairing guardrails, barrier walls, curbs and gutters at the Buckley Road (Illinois Route 137), Townline Road (Illinois Route 60) and Half Day Road (Illinois Route 22) westbound entrance and the eastbound exit ramps on I-94.

Similar work is to take place on the Lake Cook Road eastbound exit ramp.

Repairs at both locations are scheduled to be complete by Memorial Day weekend.

Work is scheduled to begin in May on the eastbound exit ramp at Lake Cook Road. Because Lake Cook Road has three toll collection lanes, access for both cash and I-PASS customers will be retained throughout the work. Work is scheduled to be complete this summer.
