The victim told authorities the Antioch man threatened her with a hammer.

Lake County authorities arrested an Antioch man who is accused of holding a woman against her will early Saturday morning at the I-94 Lake Forest Oasis on several charges.

George Bojszuk was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful restraint, aggravated assault and domestic battery after the Lake County Sheriff’s Office was called when the woman notified a gas station clerk she was being held against her will.

Authorities allege that Bojszuk awakened the woman around midnight and forced her to get into her car by threatening her with a hammer. He planned to drive to Canada, but when he stopped for gasoline at the Lake Forest Oasis, the victim was able to alert the attendant and law enforcement was called.
