Milwaukee Woman Punched Firefighter, Spit on Officer After Crash: Police
Another Wisconsin resident charged for attempting to hide an un‐holstered pistol.

BATTERY
Cadence Jackson, 34, Milwaukee, Wisc. was charged with battery for an incident that occurred at 1:20 p.m. on March 11 at IL Route 41 and Deerpath. Police and fire responded to the intersection for a reported traffic crash which occurred when Jackson struck a truck from behind. While police and fire personnel checked all participants for injuries, Jackson kicked an officer and attempted to run across Route 41. She was restrained by police and fire personnel, but punched a firefighter in the face and spit on a second officer. She was transported to Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital for evaluation and later charged with battery.

AGGRAVATED UNLAWFUL USE OF WEAPON
Christopher K. McCune, 21, Green Bay, Wisc. was charged for an incident that occurred at 1:18 a.m. on March 29 at IL Route 41 and Gage Lane. An officer stopped McCune for speeding and took him into custody when McCune was observed trying to conceal an un‐holstered pistol. McCune did not have a firearms owner identification card or a concealed carry permit. Cannabis was also found in his car. McCune was charged with speeding, felony unlawful use of a weapon and unlawful possession of cannabis.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Fernando Montano, 20, Waukegan was stopped at Waukegan and Conway roads at 10 p.m. on March 27 and cited for driving while suspended. Montana was stopped by an officer for a registration violation and taken into custody when he was found to be driving a suspended driver’s license due to a previous DUI arrest.
