Missing Teen May Be Staying In Lake Forest: Police

Police have reason to believe he may be staying with local teens unbeknownst to their parents.

LAKE FOREST, IL — Police believe a missing California boy may be staying in Lake Forest with local teens, possibly without their parents' knowledge. Alexander "Xander" P. Kropp was reported missing from a medical facility in Connecticut, according to a Monday alert from the Lake Forest Police Department.

Police asked the public for help locating the boy after receiving information Kropp, a Northern California native, may be in the North Shore area.

Anyone with knowledge of Kropp's whereabouts was asked to contact School Resource Officer Conrad Christensen at 847-810-3818 or by email.
