More Mail Trouble Reported in Lake Forest

A second person is now claiming mail sent through the Lake Forest Post Office never reached its intended recipient.

Lake Forest resident Lynda Mihaljevic tells the Lake County News-Sun that a pair of checks she and her husband sent, one to her great-grandson for his birthday, never made it there and were not cashed.

Both were dropped in a box in front of the Bradley Road post office.

The Postal Service’s Office of the Inspector General opened an investigation into the Lake Forest Post Office in November in response to a complaint filed by Michael Beacham, another Lake Forest resident who claimed five letters he mailed never reached their destinations.
