Music Tutor Accused of Having Sexual Contact with 15-Year Old Student

LAKE FOREST, IL - A Chicago man was charged this week with ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse in Lake Forest after an investigation began last month when a police officer spotted the man engaging in physical conduct with a teenager inside a parked car.

Patrick R. Jennings, 32, a private music tutor, was spotted inside a parked car in Lake Forest with a 15-year-old student on Feb. 29, according to police who say they witnessed the pair engaging in “inappropriate physical conduct.”

After speaking to Jennings, the student and several witnesses and analyzing data from Jennings’ two smartphones and tablet, police were able to obtain an arrest warrant on Wednesday.

Jennings was taken to Lake County Jail on Friday and is being held on $500,000 bond.
