Nahigian Earns Promotion to CROYA Manager

Has served as interim director since August 2010.

Since August of last year when Kamy Daddono resigned, Todd Nahigian has been acting director of in Lake Forest.

Not anymore.

Nahigian has been officially promoted to CROYA manager by City Manager Bob Kiely, effective Feb. 10.

“Todd has more than proved his capabilities during this interim period. We’re proud to have him continue as the organization’s leader,” Kiely said.

Nahigian grew up in Northfield and attended Glenbrook South High School. He studied psychology at Miami University (Ohio), and earned his masters degree in Clinical Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, now Argosy University.

Nahigian began his career at CROYA in 1995 as the high school youth worker and was promoted to assistant director in 2000.

“I most enjoy working with youth to provide them with opportunities where they can feel good about themselves as a person," Nahigian said. "Adolescence is a challenging time...anything I can do to help kids in their social-emotional development is rewarding to me."
