Northwestern Medicine Health &amp; Fitness Centers will host the first ever 5K &amp; 1 mile family fun run/walk! All proceeds from the event will benefit Northwestern's medical fitness programs, which are designed to help prevent and treat health issues, as well as support members in achieving optimum levels of health, social and emotional functioning.The event will be held at Middlefork Savanna County Forest Preserve in Lake Forest on Sunday, October 4th. Registration for the event will begin at 8 a.m., followed by the 5K at 9 a.m. and the 1 mile walk at 9:30.
