NSDAR clowns around with veterans at the Lovell Federal Health Care Center annual Patient Carnival

North Shore Chapter, Lake Forest, IL volunteers Virginia Bishop (Northbrook), Cathy Tucker (Lake Forest) and Pam Nelson (Northbrook) – as well as junior assistants Haley and Mason Cornwell, grandchildren of Pam Nelson - turn the tables by serving the service members at the annual Patient Carnival at the Captain James A.Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Sponsored by the Veterans Affairs Voluntary Service, the annual carnival, presented at federal and military health centers around the country, draws veterans and active duty military. More than 20 organizations pitch in to make the Lovell Federal Health Care Center’s Patient Carnival a much anticipated event by patients and their families.
