“An upgraded computer lab at Nuestro Center will help Latino first through fifth graders, their families and adult English learners gain the educational skills and confidence to advance up the educational ladder and achieve success in their new American home at school, at work, and in the community,” says Carrie Callas, executive director of Family Service of Lake County “Students will successfully transition to middle school and then to high school, graduate, and become the first in their families to attend and graduate from college. In the process, individuals and families will be strengthened to reach their maximum life potential, and the entire community will become stronger.”
