O’Keefe hires financial industry veteran Tom McCabe as Managing Director

Strategic and financial advisory firm O’Keefe today announced Tom McCabe, CPA, has joined the organization as a Managing Director, in O’Keefe’s Chicago office. McCabe is a financial industry veteran specializing in the delivery of strategic plans, profit and cash flow improvement solutions and operational effectiveness strategies. He has experience in a variety of industries including automotive, manufacturing, healthcare, real estate, retail/distribution, construction, transportation, technology and consumer goods. McCabe is an industry veteran with prior experience in senior positions with a Big 4 Accounting/Consulting Firm as well as a National Turnaround Consulting Firm. He also served as the Chief Financial Officer for a real estate/golf property firm and a publicly traded company in the information technology industry. McCabe earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in Finance from the University of Chicago Booth Graduate School of Business. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Illinois and Pennsylvania. In addition, McCabe is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Illinois CPA Society (ICPAS), Turnaround Management Association (TMA), Association for Capital Growth (ACG) and Financial Executives International (FEI). He currently resides in Lake Bluff, IL.
