Open Lecture on Montessori Education

Paula Polk Lillard, internationally respected expert on Montessori Education, will give the first lecture of our Winter/Spring Parent Child Series at Forest Bluff School. The lecture, "Tending to the Young Child's Spirit," will be followed by questions and discussion. Paula Polk Lillard co-founded Forest Bluff School in 1982, served on the board of directors of the Association Montessori Internationale, and authored four influential books, and countless articles on Montessori theory and practice. Our Parent Child Series provides an introduction to Montessori Education for expectant parents and parents with young children. In addition, we offer Practical Sessions throuughout the school year, in which parents, and their children under wighteen months of age, explore a Montessori environment together.
