The Parent Child Series at Forest Bluff School provides an introduction to Montessori education for families with young children, or those expecting babies. Parents may bring children under 18 months of age to explore a prepared environment. Guided by Dr. Montessori's work, as well as current research, Lynn Lillard Jessen, co-author of Montessori from the Start, works with each parent and child, giving developmentally relevant advice and attending to parent questions and concerns. In addition, Forest Bluff School offers lectures throughout the school year for parents of young children interested in a Montessori education.
