Person Hurt In Fire At Lake Forest Home: OC Authorities

Footage of the blaze showed flames and billowing smoke emitting from the property.

LAKE FOREST, CA — One person was injured in a residential fire over the weekend in Lake Forest, authorities said.

Crews responded shortly after 6 p.m. Saturday to the blaze and arrived to find a two-story attached home with a fully involved garage fire that was extending into the residence and threatening the neighboring attached home next door, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.

“Our firefighters rapidly knocked down the fire before it could extend to the adjacent home,” the authority said in a post on X, which included a video of the blaze that showed flames and billowing smoke emitting from the property. “One individual was treated on scene and transported to the hospital.”
