Pistol, Pot Found on Waukegan Woman Driving Through Lake Forest: Cops
Two incidents of underage drinking reported at Lake Forest College.

The following information is from the Lake Forest Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.
UNLAWFUL USE OF AIR RIFLE/PISTOL
Olivia A. Buchanan, 21, Waukegan was stopped at Waukegan Road at Route 60 at 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 4 and charged with driving while suspended, possession of cannabis and unlawful use of an air rifle/pistol. While on routine patrol officers conducted a traffic stop on a silver Pontiac and learned the registered owner’s Illinois driver’s license was suspended. Officers spoke with Buchanan and confirmed her Illinois driver’s license was suspended. Further questioning revealed Buchanan had a loaded pellet pistol in the unlocked glove compartment of the car. Also located in the vehicle was a small amount of cannabis.
MINOR CONSUMING ALCOHOL
A 19-year-old Lake Forest man was charged with minor consumption of alcohol at 2:12 a.m. on Sept, 4 at Lake Forest College. The man was located at Blackthorn Hall vomiting. Police found him to be underage.

MINOR CONSUMING ALCOHOL
Police responded to a report from Lake Forest College security at 11:12 p.m. on Aug. 27 regarding two people trespassing on campus. Police found the two and charged one, a 17-year-old boy, with minor consumption of alcohol. Both minors were released to their parents.
