Play Mini Golf At The Lake Bluff Public Library

From Lake Bluff Library: You read that right: you are invited to come play mini golf at the Lake Bluff Public Library.

In honor of National Friends of the Library Week, the Friends of the Lake Bluff Public Library will be hosting Putting Through the Pages at the Lake Bluff Public Library. This incredible day will start off with a family-friendly concert by Ben Tatar at 11:00am on Saturday, October 20.

The Library will then close one hour early at 4:00pm to prepare for the evening ahead. From 5:00pm to 9:00pm, putt your way through a book-themed mini golf course at the Library. Admission to the course is free. Once you’ve conquered our literary links, wander back to the staff parking lot where you’ll be able to purchase food from Left Bank, ice cream from Oberweiss and (if you’re 21 or older) beer or wine from Prairie Espresso. To add even more fun to our evening, balloon artist Holly Nagel will be creating amazing balloon art from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. And if that isn’t cool enough, the Friends will also be debuting their latest donation to the Lake Bluff Public Library—and it might be one of the coolest things we’ve ever received. Let’s just say we’re wheelie excited about it. (It’s a book bike!)
