Police Alerted When Resident Hears 'Footsteps' at Home
Cops called when older brother steals money from sibling. Mailman called 'suspicious' by caller.

The following information is from the Lake Bluff Police Department.
SUSPICIOUS INCIDENT
Officers responded to the 400 block of Park Ln. for a report of sounds of footsteps in the residence at 10:44 a.m. on August 24. Officers checked the interior and exterior of the residence, and reported no irregularities. Officers explained their findings to the complainant.

JUVENILE MATTER
An officer responded to the 500 block of East Prospect Avenue to speak with a juvenile reference him taking money from a younger brother at 6:22 p.m. on August 24 in the 7300 block of Prospect Ave. Officer met with the subject and his parents.

SUSPICIOUS PERSON
Officer responded to the area of Briar Lane and E. Sheridan Place at 2:55 p.m. on August 27 for a complaint of a male in the area with a satchel but he appeared to not be delivering packages. Officer located the mail man who fit the description of the subject and he stated he was on Briar Lane delivering mail. No other irregularities were observed.
