Potbelly Opens Friday in Lake Bluff

Potbelly Sandwich Shop will make its debut in Lake Bluff with a traditional “Oven Warming” grand opening event on Friday and will officially open for business at 945 Rockland Road on Saturday.

Best known for good vibes, toast sandwiches and live music - according to a Tuesday news release, all of the chain’s more than 300 restaurants nationwide maintain “a unique neighborhood vibe by incorporating decoration that reflects each community.”

The Lake Bluff location will be no different, featuring local singing talent and partnering with local charities.

The grand opening is planned from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and again from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. Guests will receive a Potbelly Originals (sandwich, bag of chips and fountain drink) for a suggested $5 donation at the door. All proceeds will benefit Friends of the Lake Bluff Public Library.

The shop will be open Sunday – Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. and Friday–Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
