Presentation on Marshall Field's Coming to Lake Bluff
Author of "Remembering Marshall Field's" will share memories of the longtime department store at Grace United Methodist in October.
A history of Marshall Field’s will be the topic of the Lake Bluff Women’s Club luncheon on Tuesday, October 13 at Grace United Methodist in Lake Bluff.
Leslie Goddard, historian and author of the book “Remembering Marshall Field’s” will present the program that will include memories of the famous department store through the decades, according to the Daily North Shore.
Those attending are asked to bring their favorite piece of memorabilia from Marshall Field’s as Goddard will showcase photographs, stories and other fond memories of the retailer’s 160 years.
