Presentation of proposed Strategic Plan implementation plan to Lake Bluff School Board
Community members, parents, subject matter experts, teachers and staff
who worked to develop the proposed implementation portion of the Lake Bluff
Schools Strategic Plan will present that
plan to the Board of Education.
The implementation outline, which is the third and final segment of the District’s new
Strategic Plan, includes the proposed specific steps that will be used to carry
out goals that were set by the Board of Education in late spring. The group
also worked out the timelines, lists of needed resources, and the specific
metrics that will be used to measure success toward reaching each goal.
The goals grew out of the Board’s community input gathering
last fall at a series of 23 focus group sessions and from 521 survey responses.
That input was converted into data on what stakeholders care about and their
beliefs regarding the future of education in Lake Bluff -- and in late spring,
the Board used that data to set the District's Mission, Vision and Principles
and Objectives. The Board then turned the process over to District
administrators, who guided the development of the implementation plan.
