PTO Musical Memory

Pinkle

Yesterday, so young and gay, I thought I’d join the PTA

And thereby share some fun and jokes with other social minded folks

Money raising was our thing, we also liked to laugh and sing

Put them together, ‘fore you know, we had our local “Broadway Show”

One setting was a bit bizarre, a stretch quite high above the bar

Imaginations set to roam selected an old people’s home!

Since we were young, there was one pinkle, none of us displayed a wrinkle!

This we solved in easy take-up: We would age ourselves with make-up

And so we painted on the lines, pretending we were Father Time

And pranced around the stage with glee, wearing age for all to see

If we had waited to produce, expenses could have been reduced

But after all is said and done, the real thing’s no way that much fun!
