Repairs on Blair Park Pool Begin Monday

Construction projects at the Blair Park Pool in Lake Bluff will start on Monday, August 17 and cause some changes to parking and traffic patterns.

Some parking areas and sidewalks will be closed and an additional pedestrian walkway will be added, according to the Lake Bluff Park District. The current spots closest to the front entrance of the Recreation Center will become 10-minute parking and the entire circle drive will become a no parking zone.

Renovation at the pool, which are scheduled to be complete by May 2016, include the rebuilding of the wading pool, replacing the liner of the main pool, repairing the Recreation Center roof and replacing all HVAC systems in the facility.
