'Resolution of Sympathy' to be Read for Edward "Tim" Christie
The Lake Forest City Council will honor the former volunteer and board member at its Monday meeting.
City Council members in Lake Forest plan to hear a ‘Resolution of Sympathy’ for Edward “Tim” Christie near the start of their meeting on Monday, October 19 at City Hall.
Christie, who died on September 27, volunteered his time to the city by serving on the Historic Preservation Commission, Building Review Board and Plan Commission for more than a decade.
“Tim was humble, and gentle, and kind, and would ask for little in return,” the resolutions reads.
According to his obituary, Christie’s “warm nature, sense of humor and dedication to public service endeared him to many.”
