RESULTS - VOTE Lake Bluff Town Meetings December 6th & 7th

VOTE Lake Bluff

The results of the VOTE Lake Bluff Town Meetings for the April 4th, 2017 Consolidated Election, held on December 6th and 7th, have been posted on our website votelakebluff.org for the 5 local municipal boards. All registered voters within the relevant districts for the Village Board of Trustees, President and Clerk, the Library Board, Park District Board, and both D115 and D65 School Boards were invited to participate.

The following candidates were nominated. Their submitted applications/questionnaires to VOTE Lake Bluff and video tapes of the Town Meetings are available for review on the VOTE Lake Bluff website www.votelakebluff.org.

Village President: Kathleen O'Hara

Village Clerk: Joy Markee

Library Board of Trustees: Scot Butler, Kate Jackson, Timothy Kregor, Carole Stroh

Board of Education - Elementary School District 65: Julie Gottshall, Richard Hegg, Philip Hood, John Marozsan

Lake Bluff Park District Board of Commissioners:

*For a 4-Year Term: Brock Gordon, Kauri McKendry, Chris Mosbarger, France Pitera

*For a 2-Year Term: Robert Douglass

The purpose of each Town Meeting was to give all residents a chance to meet candidates, participate in a question and answer forum, and vote to endorse nominees as candidates for the April 4, 2017 Consolidated Election.

VOTE Lake Bluff is grateful to everyone who supported and participated in the Town Meeting process, and encourages any Lake Bluff/unincorporated Lake Bluff resident who is interested in serving our community by joining VOTE Lake Bluff, to fill out the contact form on our website. The VOTE Lake Bluff Administrative Committee spent over a year exploring issues of concern to both the community and the five boards, identifying and recruiting candidates for all openings on the 5 boards, and managing the Town Meeting process.
