Road Rage Leads to Battery Charge for Waukegan Woman

A Waukegan woman was charged with battery in Lake Forest earlier this month after police say she punched another driver in the face following a minor traffic crash.

Police responded to the crash at IL Route 41 and Deerpath Road at 5:53 p.m. on Nov. 4 and charged Neva J. Williams, 67 after a physical dispute escalated between her and the other driver involved in the crash.

After speaking to both parties and witnesses at the scene, police arrested Williams after learning she had struck the other driver.
