'Saving Illinois In 2018' With Illinois Policy Institute's CEO

IPI Chairman John Tillman is offering a free presentation Wednesday in Lake Forest.

LAKE FOREST, IL — The head of one of the state's most powerful advocates for free enterprise and liberty will be offering a free presentation Wednesday, entitled "Saving Illinois in 2018: Jobs, Taxes, Real Estate Values & Prosperity," the Women's Republican Club of Lake Forest-Lake Bluff and the Shields Township Republican Organization announced.

John Tillman, chairman and CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute, is the founder and co-founder of a variety of groups in Illinois, including Illinois Policy 501 (c)(4), the nonprofit public-interest law firm the Liberty Justice Center, the Illinois Opportunity Project, also 501(c)(4) and the Illinois Liberty Political Action Committee.

Tillman is also the founder of the nonprofit Think Freely Media and the Great Communicators Tournament. Both projects are decaded to helping free market advocates make the moral case in debates over public policy. Tillman serves on the board of America's Future Foundation and is regularly featured in the media. He has appeared on Fox News Channel, Fox Business, BBC and NPR, as well as in the Wall Street Journal, the Washington Times and other news outlets.
