The Bottom Line: “We are capable of big scores, but it’s consistent 9.2’s and 9.3’s,” said Lake Forest of how the Scouts’ depth propelled them into third place.

Scouts’ Star Performer: provided a standout defensive effort against the undefeated Wildcats with three steals, three rebounds and 10 deflections as well as leading the Lake Forest scoring effort with six points.
Other Notable Scout Performances: added five points and three rebounds while grabbed five rebounds.
Who’s Next: The Scouts entertain Lakes at 7 p.m. tonight (Feb. 8).
The Bottom Line: Shooting 18 percent from the field and 50 percent from the free throw line made things difficult for the Scouts.
