Scout Swimmers Secure 4th at NSC Meet; Boys' Basketball Loses to Warren

Scouts’ Star Performer: finished second in the 500-yard freestyle in 4:46.17 to eclipse his best time of the season by nearly four seconds. He also captured third in the 100 backstroke.
Other Notable Scout Performances: grabbed fourth in both the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke. nabbed third in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 50 freestyle.

Who’s Next: The Scouts compete in the Sectional meet at 1 p.m. Saturday (Feb. 19) in Vernon Hills.
The Bottom Line: Many of the Scouts outperformed their best times of the year.

Scouts' Top Performer: Thomas Durrett scoered a team-high 16 points.
Other Notable Scout Performances: Alex Schwartz also hit double figures with 12.
Who's Next: Lake Forest hosts Deerfield Tuesday night (Feb. 15) and Libertyville (Feb. 18) on Friday night. Both games start at 7 p.m.
The Bottom Line: After trailing by as much as 23 points in the third quarter, the Scouts stormed back in the fourth quartter to close the gap to 52-42 with 1:56 left on Durrett's three-pointer. However, the Blue Devils used free throws down the stretch to stave off the rally.
