Signal at Elm and 41 Repaired

Busy intersection had come to flashing 4-way stop after car crashed into traffic cabinet Saturday morning.

Repairs have been made to the traffic signal at Route 41 and Old Elm Road two days after a car crash there, the Lake Forester reports.

Crews have installed the proper equipment to allow for the return of regular traffic patterns after 48 hours.

The intersection had been turned into a temporary four-way stop following Saturday morning’s accident that is still under investigation by Lake Forest police.
