Special Meeting Called To Discuss Laurel/Western Redevelopment

The city council will enter into executive session following the meeting planned for June 29.

The Lake Forest City Council will hold a special meeting and will adjourn into Executive Session on Monday, June 29 at 6:30 p.m. to discuss the consideration to be paid under the Laurel/Western Avenues property purchase agreement with the proposed developer, Focus Development. As it is an informational meeting only, no action will be taken by the City Council.

The June 29 meeting is at the Municipal Services Building, 800 N. Field Drive.

By Illinois state statute, the Lake Forest City Council is allowed to meet in closed Executive Session to discuss matters of property acquisition/disposition and personnel, among others.

The Laurel/Western Avenues Redevelopment petition is scheduled to be presented to and considered by the City Council at its meeting on Monday, July 6, 6:30 p.m. at City Hall. Information regarding the redevelopment proposal is available at www.cityoflakeforest.com.
