Stolen Pizza Truck Police Chase Rolls Through Lake Forest
A police chase resulted in no arrests after a delivery truck was lifted from outside an Italian restaurant on the South Side of Chicago.

A pizza delivery truck stolen from Chicago’s Marquette Park neighborhood on the South Side was found abandoned in Waukegan after a police chase that went through several Lake County towns over the weekend.
The truck was stolen around 1 p.m. on Saturday from Papa T’s Italian Restaurant on 63rd Street after the driver loaded it with about 40 small pizzas and went back inside the restaurant to bring out the sodas, according to the Lake County News-Sun.
The truck was spotted traveling north on Route 41 in Lake Forest, Park City, North Chicago and other cities when a helicopter joined the police effort to stop the getaway.

The truck was eventually found abandoned in the 600 block of North Avenue in Waukegan, but the driver was never located.
