"Summer Bash" A Community Celebration on July 27

LF/LB Chamber of Commerce, Bernie's Book Bank, Taste of the Towns, Nonprofit Showcase, Community Spirit Summer Celebration

Lake Forest, Illinois – July 21, 2016 – All are invited to attend “Summer Bash, a Celebration of Community” for a festive evening of food, fun and meeting friends and colleagues.

The event showcasing nonprofit organizations and featuring a “Taste of the Towns” will take place at Bernie’s Book Bank, 917 North Shore Drive in Lake Bluff, on Wednesday July 27 and will run from 5:30 until 7:30 pm.

Organized by the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Chamber of Commerce, the event will showcase more than 10 favorite food businesses who will offer complimentary samplings of food and feature over 30 nonprofits with representatives on hand to share their organizations’ missions. “This fun, summer event is the perfect opportunity to enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors, sample food from our towns’ terrific eateries, caterers and stores, and stroll through exhibits of just some of the many wonderful non-profit organizations that make our communities such extraordinary places to live, work and play,” says the Chamber’s Joanna Rolek. “ A big thanks to Bernie’s Book Bank for generously hosting us and a warm invitation to all to join in this fun celebration.”
