Trick-or-Treat Hours for Lake Forest

The countdown to Halloween is on.

The spookiest time of year is upon us, as children and their parents are already planning for Halloween.

Trick-or-treating in Lake Forest will take place from 4-8 p.m. on Saturday, October 31 this year.

A day earlier, the city of Lake Forest will offer its residents to celebrate Halloween at the Rec Center. Age appropriate activities, including a haunted house, spooky games, a haunted hayride and more will provide plenty of fun for Lake Forest preschoolers through third graders and parents. The free event is sponsored by Forest Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry.

On Saturday, parents are urged to accompany young children and use the sidewalk while trick-or-treating. If there is no sidewalk, use the left side of the road facing the flow of traffic.
