Vernon Township welcomed residents to its 176th annual Town Meeting on April 14. Vernon Township Supervisor Tim Kobler shared highlights from the past year and provided an overview of the programs and services that continue to support residents and strengthen the community. He also outlined upcoming projects aimed at addressing the Township’s evolving needs.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for community members to stay informed, ask questions, and learn more about Township services and initiatives. George Yeager, a Township resident and active participant who attends most regular board meetings, was elected by attendees to serve as moderator and lead the meeting – an annual tradition for the annual Town Meeting.

“Our annual Town Meeting provides an important opportunity to reflect on the ongoing work of our Township staff and partners, and the services delivered to the community every day,” said Supervisor Kobler. “We are proud of the programs we provide, and remain committed to finding new ways to meet the needs of our residents.”
