Water: Just What Are We Drinking?
Event by the League of Women Voters Lake Forest-Lake Bluff
How can we be sure that pesticides, industrial waste, prescription drugs and agricultural runoff are not contaminating our drinking water in spite of the best efforts of water treatment plants? What could be the long-tem effects? Ecomyths, an NGO studying water, will discuss such issues at a League of Women Voters program on Sunday February 22nd at 1:30 PM at Meyer Auditorium, Hotchkiss Hall, Lake Forest College. It will be co-sponsored by Lake Forest College Department of Community Education.
