Lake Forest 4th of July Fireworks: When and Where to Watch Them

Plus, information on the other ways the village is celebrating Independence Day in 2016.

Lake Forest, IL—This year's Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks will give the Fourth of July an '80s feel to it thanks to its headlining Michael Jackson tribute show.

Fireworks are scheduled for 9:40 p.m. Monday, July 4, at Deerpath Community Park. Before the pyrotechnic display, the event will feature kids games and activities, as well as live entertainment, including a musical show, by MJ Live, which will put on a Michael Jackson tribute concert.

The event begins at 6 p.m. and runs until 10 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. MJ Live will start performing at 8 p.m.

Tickets for the celebration are $15 for Lake Forest and Lake Bluff residents, and $20 for nonresidents. Special VIP and parking passes are available, ranging in price from $25 to $250. A portion of the event's profits will go to support programs by the Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Department.
