Where To Watch Fireworks on the 4th of July in Lake Forest

Festival and Fireworks event is presented by Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation.

The ninth annual Festival and Fireworks event presented by the Friends of Lake Forest Parks and Recreation Foundation will take place on Saturday, the Fourth of July, at Deerpath Park.

“Besides the amazing fireworks, great food, drinks and family fun, we’re excited to announce ‘Wynonna and the Big Noise’ as our featured musical act along with Chicago’s country band ‘Six String Crossing’ as the opener,” said Mark Milliman, Foundation President.

Tickets are $15 for Lake Forest/Lake Bluff residents ($20 for non-residents). Tickets can be purchased prior to June 15, by visiting www.FriendsLFPR.org or at the Recreation Center business office starting June 16.

The fun starts at 6 p.m. when the opening band “Six String Crossing” takes the soundstage. The main headliner, “Wynonna and the Big Noise” begins at 8 p.m. Then at approx.imately 9:40 p.m., arguably the greatest fireworks display on the North Shore begins filling the skies.

3:00 pm VIP ticket holders allowed access to set up their lawn chairs/blankets. They must leave the park once their equipment is set-up

5:00 pm Gates Open – bring your lawn chair or blanket – No tents or stakes, no pets, no smoking

6:00 pm Six String Crossing, starts the evening

8:00 pm Wynonna and the Big Noise, takes the stage

9:40 pm Fireworks Display
