10 Teens Charged With Mob Action Outside Wrigley Field
The group threatened and assaulted people after Wednesday night's Cubs game, police said.

CHICAGO — Ten teens have been charged with mob action after robberies and assaults in Wrigleyville after Wednesday's Cubs game, according to police. Teens between the ages of 13 and 16 stole candy from a Walgreens on Broadway Avenue and then tried to sell it outside Wrigley Field, police said.
Then two people were assaulted at a restaurant on Clark, police said, and another retail theft was reported nearby.
Police said a 35-year-old man who witnessed the group's actions tried to follow the teens, and they threatened to hurt him.

Witnesses and victims identified the group at the CTA Red Line station at Belmont, and officers took the 10 teens into custody.
Each of the teens was charged with misdemeanor mob action. Two of the teens were charged with misdemeanor simple assault and three were charged with retail theft, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.
