7 Chicago Restaurants Named Best in The World
A ranking by the French Foreign Ministry named these Chicago restaurants some of the best in the world.
When thinking of Chicago, comparisons to France may not come to mind.
But that didn’t stop the French Foreign Ministry from showing the Windy City some love. Seven Chicago restaurants earned spots on La Liste, a ranking of the world’s 1,000 best restaurants. La Liste is created by the French Foreign ministry and supported by the country’s tourism board, reported NBC Chicago.
La Liste claims it’s the only verifiable restaurant ranking in the world.

“It leverages restaurant scores and other metadata from 200-plus leading gastronomic guidebooks and websites, making it the first and the only restaurant ranking based on transparent, objective and verifiable criteria,” says the website.
