Anthony Rizzo's Instagram Post Sparks Marriage Rumors

CHICAGO, IL — Rumors have been circulating about whether Chicago Cubs' star Anthony Rizzo got married over the weekend, after he posted a picture of himself in a tuxedo with his fiance Sunday. No formal announcement has been made, however. Rizzo posted the picture from Orlando, Florida.

"What a weekend," the post read, with a heart-eyed emoji.

Rizzo announced his engagement to Chicago real estate broker Emily Vakos in June of this year, but didn't reveal a wedding date.

"Luckiest guy in the world! She said YES. Future Mr. & Mrs. Rizzo," the Cubs All-Star wrote on his Twitter account after his proposal under Lake Michigan fireworks.

"She was totally surprised," he said. "That's what I wanted. Somehow kept that under wraps."

Whether their marriage ceremony was kept under wraps as well remains a mystery.
