Chicago Cubs Charities "Pink Out" the Budwesier Bleacher for Breast Cancer Awareness

Chicago Cubs fans are invited to participate in Chicago Cubs Charities “Pink Out”
presented by Advocate Health Care on Wednesday, May 8^th for
the 1:20pm game against the St. Louis Cardinals.    Each fan who buys a ticket to sit in the Budweiser Bleachers, will receive a Chicago Cubs Charities “Pink Out” hat to help promote and support breast cancer awareness.  The wives of Cubs coaches and players will be handing them out at the entrance gates.

Fans throughout the ballpark are encouraged to wear pink that day. The Cubs Store, located across Wrigley Field at the corner of Clark and Addison Streets, will display a “Pink Out” section with pink Cubs merchandise for fans interested in participating.

All fans in attendance on May 8^th are encouraged to participate in the Chicago Cubs Charities 50/50 Raffle, as proceeds will benefit mammograms for under/uninsured women through Advocate Healthcare.

The Cubs and Advocate Health Care will honor breast cancer survivors by including them in notable game ceremonies such as the First Pitch, National Anthem and 7^th Inning Stretch. The game will also feature Major League Baseball’s 2013 Honorary Bat Girl Contest winner who is selected for submitting a story about “Going to Bat Against Breast Cancer.” In addition, Advocate will bring more than 50 survivors to enjoy the game in the stands.

Fans will notice other pink touches throughout the ballpark as well, such as a temporary pink ribbon on the outfield wall, pink hats worn by the grounds crew and more. To purchase tickets or find more information about “Pink Out,” please visit www.cubs.com/pink.
